improves core strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and posture. It helps build a relaxed body
and calm mind, transforming stress and tension into free flowing energy.

Tai Chi Qigong

Tai Chi Qigong is gentle flowing exercise which promotes free flowing life force energy or chi in your body. It is a gentle form of exercise that can be practised by people of all ages and ability. No special skills or particular physical strength are needed.
It is sometimes described as moving meditation consisting of mindful movement, focus on breathing, and exercises to release energy blockages. The slow flowing movements relax the body and calm the mind, helping you experience a sense of peaceful relaxation.
If you have been given a shiatsu treatment,you will find that a Tai Chi Qigong class will help enhance the effects of the treatment.


The class is very friendly and sociable. Members sit and have a drink and a chat before class and everyone is welcome to join the regular lunch held on the second Wednesday of alternate months.

I have benefited enormously from the class both physically and mentally. When I first started I was hardly able to stand for long as my legs were weak after an illness but now my balance and strength have improved and I am able to have more energy and relaxation.

Yoga & Taichi Qigong / Holidays. Sri Lanka yoga

Yoga and Qigong holidays in lovely locations.

These holidays include 2 hours of a combination of yoga/qigong/meditation/yoga nidra.


We fly to Copenhagen and then travel by train to Denmark’s third largest city, Odense, which is often overlooked for its larger siblings Copenhagen and Aarhus, but this cozy city of almost 200,000 is home to great museums like Brandts, an award-winning zoo, and an acclaimed film festival. And of course, you can visit the home of the godfather of fables, Hans Christian Andersen.

And if that’s not enough, there are plenty of cafes, cozy restaurants, and even a new city beach within easy reach. We will stay in rooms within people’s homes for a truly Danish experience. Breakfast will be taken at Lise’s where we will do Yoga and Qigong.

There will be a boat trip followed by a picnic on one day and a walk in the footsteps of Hans Christian Andersen the following day. This gives plenty of free time to explore the city and enjoy the cafes. Complementary therapies will be available.


When we go to Rosy’s Little village we are by the sea with a small private beach.
Various boat trips are available on Nondas’s speedboat – one of the loves of his life!   Rosy and Nondas built Rosy’s Little Village and have created a haven for rest and relaxation.

Yoga and Qigong classes take place on the patio overlooking the sea and you may be lucky enough to see some dolphins passing by! And the sun rises over the island of Aegina which is just ahead over a stretch of blue and turquoise sea.

The restaurant serves delicious food at a reasonable price, your only difficulty will be which meal to choose. Complementary therapies available.


Visit Abbruzzo and stay in the lovely Shanticentre overlooking green countryside.
Enjoy the sauna, outdoor hot tub, and the (unheated) outdoor pool.
There is an optional excursion to the seaside town of Pineto to visit the market and the beach, and the nearby medieval hilltop town to visit for sightseeing, shopping and cafes.
