I work holistically to offer women support during pregnancy combining reflexology to help optimise physical and emotional health and hypnotherapy to help manage anxiety through pregnancy and labour.
When can I have reflexology?
From twelve weeks onwards. Reflexology is a wonderful support during pregnancy, can be part of your preparation for labour and help antenatally – I also offer baby reflexology and will teach mum how to do simple reflexology for baby.
How reflexology helps

Reflexology is gaining recognition as a tool to help manage the emotional, hormonal and physiological changes experienced during the beautiful journey through preconception, pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period.
Regular reflexology throughout pregnancy gives time for both you and your baby to benefit from relaxation which can bring multiple benefits.
Time away from busy lives to provide a comforting place where the focus is solely on you and your growing baby, Deep relaxation, Improved Sleep patterns, Improved sense of well being helping to deal with discomfort and restoring energy and helping your body return to its normal balance after your baby’s birth.
Many women feel they have benefitted from reflexology throughout their pregnancy and two recent studies have shown that reflexology in pregnancy significantly reduced pain during labour reduced the length of the first stage of labour and improved quality of sleep in post-natal women.
Pregnancy and Hypnotherapy
If you are feeling anxious about your pregnancy, giving birth or you have had a less than ideal birth and you want some help in letting go of the experience, then hypnotherapy can be very helpful in preparations for the birth of your new baby and very good for both your and your baby’s health.
It’s a method of finding a place of deep calm and it’s a set of techniques you can use for yourself to help manage symptoms. I often combine reflexology and hypnotherapy to help alleviate anxiety and manage stress.
“I took a chance and contacted Jane from her website. I’m so glad I did as she turned out to be brilliant. Her reflexology sessions helped me relax during pregnancy- it was only a matter of minutes before I was fast asleep on the couch!!
Jane is very caring and professional. Although I went to Jane for reflexology for help with pelvic girdle pain she helped with so much more. She was able to use other skills such as massage and we even consulted her about hypnobirthing. Jane turned out to be a very helpful resource during an uncertain and important time in our lives, I’m grateful for her help and support and I would highly recommend her.”
